As Optometrists our main aim is ensuring people maintain good vision and unfortunately we witness first hand how devastating loss of good vision can be to a person. Vision loss can mean giving up your driving licence or hobbies and we see how detrimental this can be to your independence. This motivates me to ensure that it doesn't happen to my own patients where possible.
When dealing with others my main determination is ensuring they receive the best possible service and wouldn't hesitate to recommend ourselves to anyone.
At Jonathan Hall Opticians I am given the freedom and the resources to manage my patients how I feel necessary within the best possible clinical environment. We are very lucky to have an OCT scanner which ensures the diagnosis and management of ocular pathologies and I also run a specific dry eye clinic. So it is the clinical side of Optometry here which I really enjoy.
Outside of the test room I try to keep active as much as possible, through gym, running and walking my dog. When I get the chance I love to travel and try to get over to England to see Man United at least once per season!
